Current priorities: We continue to strive toward shifting the way Maine’s systems, and the people working within them, respond to domestic violence and abuse.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: We learn from the other members through the newsletters and member meetings and feel connected to that larger community.
Recent priorities: For the past few years we have been focused on a few areas of programming – cultivating sustainable workplaces, increasing the accessibility of services, and expanding alternative paths toward justice and healing.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: Our group would not exist today if it were not for MaineShare. During those sparce years, MaineShare helped keep us determined to work for peace.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: Maine Hospice Council has long been a champion of social and environmental justice, health equity and social change, all consistent with MaineShare’s mission. We also have always believed in collaborative efforts to achieve these goals.
