Current priorities: They stem from four main pillar programs: direct service; health education and outreach; public health research; and advocacy.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: We have little room in our operations for fundraising, which makes this collective approach — ‘all boats rise’ – so valuable to our sustainability.

Recent achievements: We have created a robust anti-bias toolkit, available on our website as a resource.
EqualityMaine Foundation
How does MaineShare benefit you?: It allows us to offer more programs like our SAGE Maine programs for older adults at little or no cost.
Disability Rights Maine
Recent priorities: Formation of a sub-team on Health Equity; this team is actively working to gather and analyze existing and new data in order to issue a public report that will bring to light what we believe to be a significant lack of equity in access to health care for people with disabilities in our state.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: This unrestricted funding allows us to fill in these gaps and provide good, consistent service to the community or cover the administrative necessities that otherwise might not be an allowable expense.
