Maine Citizens for Clean Elections
Maine Citizens for Clean Elections is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization working to ensure that Maine’s campaign finance laws, elections, and government serve the public interest, both in principle and in practice. The LWV Education Fund is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization conducting voter service and citizen education activities.
Recent Achievement: Thanks to our advocacy activities, by 2024 Maine will have online voter registration, semi-open primaries, expanded absentee voting, post-election audits, and a ban on corporate contributions to legislators.
