Current Priorities: Continuing our 30×30 campaign to conserve 30% of Maine’s land and water by 2030 and to create more equitable access to the outdoors by reducing barriers such as fees and transportation access to public places.
Recent Achievement: The creation of SNAHP!– Solidarity Network Against Hunger and Poverty. This group is built on lived experience and gathers every other week to build organizational and activist skills with each other, all while planning community care, mutual aid, popular education, and legislative and policy changes.
Recent achievement: Mano en Mano supported community members’ access to emergency funds through the Estamos Aquí Mutual aid fund. As of May 2022, this fund has redistributed $613,358, supporting a total of 2,991 individuals across the state of Maine.

Recent achievements: MPRC-trained volunteers have been part of successful legislative campaigns in the past year around drug policy reform and affordable housing.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: We are committed to the idea that social justice organizations should be funded to the greatest extent possible by everyday people for whom policy reforms matter most.
