Current priorities: We continue to strive toward shifting the way Maine’s systems, and the people working within them, respond to domestic violence and abuse.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: We learn from the other members through the newsletters and member meetings and feel connected to that larger community.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: Maine Hospice Council has long been a champion of social and environmental justice, health equity and social change, all consistent with MaineShare’s mission. We also have always believed in collaborative efforts to achieve these goals.
Current priorities: They stem from four main pillar programs: direct service; health education and outreach; public health research; and advocacy.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: We have little room in our operations for fundraising, which makes this collective approach — ‘all boats rise’ – so valuable to our sustainability.
