Current priorities: We continue to strive toward shifting the way Maine’s systems, and the people working within them, respond to domestic violence and abuse.

How does MaineShare benefit you?: Maine Hospice Council has long been a champion of social and environmental justice, health equity and social change, all consistent with MaineShare’s mission. We also have always believed in collaborative efforts to achieve these goals.
Recent achievements: We have created a robust anti-bias toolkit, available on our website as a resource.
Current priorities: Promote legislative policy solutions that increase resources to create more affordable housing and community development projects, especially in rural, historically disadvantaged and low-income communities.
How does MaineShare benefit you?: Being a part of MaineShare means being a part of a coalition of groups working to make Maine more equitable and resilient and creating a way for everyday people to support that work.
Recent achievement: Working with the Maine legislature to pass a first-in-the nation law to eliminate toxic PFAS from products we use every day (LD 1505).
How does MaineShare benefit you?: It offers more routes to varied sources of fundraising.
